Full Spectrum Solar is local, independent, green, and the leader in solar energy installations through Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program. We install localized, independent, green energy. Full Spectrum began in August 2002 as "Light Energy Systems," when lead Engineer Burke O'Neal returned from his position with the California-based Light Energy Systems to set up a similar business with his brother, Master Plumber Mark O'Neal.

With Light Energy Systems in California, Burke designed and supervised the installation of more than a hundred grid-connected photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. Here in Madison, Burke and Mark have installed another one hundred and thirty solar energy systems, including the largest grid-connected battery-backup and residential photovoltaic systems in Wisconsin. Our most visible projects include Yahara River View Apartments, Porchlight's Pheasant Ridge Apartments, Troy Gardens Co-housing, Family Centers, and Williamson Street Grocery Cooperative in Madison; Dr. Wesley L. Scott Senior Living Community in Milwaukee; Gund Brewery Loft Apartments in LaCrosse; Evansville Community Pool in Evansville; and Dominican Eco-Justice Center in Racine.
